The office was founded in Berlin in 1987 and is still based in the capital today. From here, construction projects in Germany and abroad are managed. The field of work includes all architectural services from design, approval planning, implementation and detailed planning, construction supervision and contract processing. These work steps are managed by the owners and the office’s current 20 employees until the project is handed over to the client.

All construction projects are managed in the area of ​​classic building construction as well as in the area of ​​exterior and interior design.

Whether the Berlin buildings of BEWAG chief architect Hans Heinrich Müller, the Dahlem Art Museum, the Villa Kampffmeyer in Potsdam or the Berlin Philharmonic – They are all emblematic of the high quality of planning by the Berlin architectural firm Petra and Paul Kahlfeldt in the reprogramming and conversion of (listed) existing buildings.
